If your handbrake doesn't work... Use a rock!

This van isn't made in Japan, but in Spain. The original Japanese version looks different while the Spanish version received a facelift in the late 80's. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
The Spanish version (the GC220, the original Japanese chassis code was C120) was longer in production till the mid 90's, while the original Japanese Vanette's production ended in 1989. It did sale very well here in Holland, but nearly all of them became the victim of those damn export dealers who shipped them to Africa. On the Greek island Lesvos do you regularly see them, usually in white, and with the sliding doors on both sides (like by this featured one). I kinda like these, shot a prefacelifted original Japanese version of it too, but unfortunately is it a very crappy photo...

It seems that the handbrake of this featured Vanette isn't working, but I'm sure there's someone around there who kicks that rock away from the wheels
Too bad that these became so extremely rare over here...
